It does not run a trading desk, provide wealth management services, or conduct market making activities. XFA does not encounter the conflict-of-interest issues that many brokerage operations of large, diversified financial service firms cannot avoid.
Our customer’s order is not subject to competing priorities like in-house flash-trade systems, internalization of order flow, or information sharing with proprietary trading desks. XFA’s only mission is to provide expert representation for the customer’s order and obtain the best price possible. As a result of this growth, XFA was the leading broker by volume of contracts executed on the Chicago Board Options Exchange in 2009 and 2010, and is consistently the volume leader in the benchmark S&P 500 Index cash options at CBOE and in S&P 500 options on futures at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
